Yes Sir. Most definitely Sous Vide steaks 99.9% of the time. It’s actually a rarity for us not to, and this only happens when we decide on doing a Steak at the last minute. (Actually have a nice Top Sirloin and 2 NY Strips in the bath just now for tonight. )… But yeah, it was late and I was tired, so I left most of the Top Sirloins whole last night. Usually cut them up some since they are larger than our dinner plates. But this works too since there is three of us. And if they would rather have NY Strips or something else entirely, I simply divide it into a few meals for myself. :+1: Its also a little easier to Grill them up whole on the grill too. Though they are usually too large even for my searing pan when they’re left whole.

 :+1: Well, we’re having Steak and large Deep Sea Scallops tonight. I could always balance a plate on the mailbox so you can do a drive-by pickup.

#425

Yes, she is. She is a wonderful dog!

Lunch today… Yep, more Turkey. Still working on tackling that big-ass Turkey that Wife cooked the other day. But we’re definitely putting a hurting on it.

Couple Turkey Salad Chaffles…

(Dirty Lazy Keto'er, Sucralose freak ;)) #427

We tried it. Its pretty good. But not a lot different than this bread recipe. In fact, one time when making my regular bread, I went on a did a smaller dough ball too. Let it rise for a bit, rolled it out, and let it rise a bit more. Then docked it, and par baked it. Threw on the toppings and cheese, and Bam  It was great. But then, every pizza we have made was great. Can’t say it was better, or worse. Just quite good

Ive been away from the pizza restaurant long enough now, that pizza is pretty great again

Yes!!! So happy for you! :joy: I totally didn’t think to get my eggs after Easter!

Chicken, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and mayo :green_heart:

Woohoo!!! In exchange, I can offer some hand sanitizer? Maybe a few rolls of local toilet paper, 3-ply? :sunglasses:

('Jackie P') #431

After a busy day in the Medical Day Unit,
I poked this in the oven whilst I got cleaned up!

OMG, a camembert baked on a bed of roasted vegetables :yum:. Too good!
Working again tomorrow :slightly_smiling_face:

#432

 Well, TP is at least coming back in somewhat regularly now that the hoarders have their stockpiles topped off. But I wouldn’t mention the Hand Sanitizer too loudly around here, or riots could erupt. That stuff is still pretty hard to come by from what I’m told.

#433

“My in-laws (mother, father and brother) work for a company that makes hand sanitizer” in whisper…:sunglasses: I understand how the mafia feels, let me tell ya :joy:

#434

I love your sectioned plate!

(Jane) #435

One of our plants makes the surfactant for the hand sanitizer (not the part that sanitizes, but the part that helps it spread thinly) and they are running balls to the walls trying to keep up with the demand.

#436

I mostly use it when I don’t want things to mingle, like pickle juice flavoring my chicken. It’s also nice when you want to watch a movie and just want to nibble on various foods, like you would on popcorn.

#437

Yes! I like doing that too, usually have them on one plate though and you’re right, the mixing isn’t always good! Pre-Keto I loved popcorn and pickles as a movie snack - pickle juice does make the corn a bit soggy!

#438

Yes, that would be a bit odd. You can find sectioned plates everywhere, even as paper plates.

#439

I will have to have all look and see if I can find one - I think I’d enjoy making a snack-plate dinner!

(Mame) #440

OMG. I can’t wait for them to start carrying it in the US.

Me too! I will try to remember to take photo of dinner.

More ribs smoked Greek style with lemon.
