Got a little inventive with this one, doesn’t look special but omg was it delicious!
Strawberries and cream pulled pork with horseradish coleslaw.
Marinaded pork shoulder with strawberries, red wine, rosemary and cream cheese pureed - 24 hours in the fridge.
Dried it off, salted and more rosemary, tossed it in the sous vide for another 24 hours.
Strained the juices from the bag into a pan, added some strawberries, cinnamon, hwc, cream cheese and salt to taste. Let it reduce down and finished the sauce with a pat of butter.
Horseradish coleslaw, is just chopped flat cabbage, 1 tbsp horseradish, 2 tbsp avacado Mayo, salt and pepper to taste.
I’m definately going to do both of these again! (Besides the leftovers lol.) They do go really well together too! The spicy crunch of the coleslaw with the slightly sweet & savory pulled pork.
