I’ve heard of it as well, and actually planned to look into it, but don’t think I ever did. So not sure if it’s even in my area? But I would still be interested in trying it though.

Lunch… Wife made her Sausage, Chicken, Shrimp… Soup? Gumbo? Not really sure, but it’s pretty good. Also had some Greek Yogurt with Strawberries, Deviled Eggs and Cauli-Egg Salad. Also an Almond Milk. (We are still using up things that started to thaw yesterday, but I’ve been working on it all morning so far. But still need to take the front, back panel off to hopefully finish it?) :crossed_fingers:

Improvised lunch while sitting in a “parking lot,” as we call it, behind a wreck in a construction zone in KY involving 3 18-wheelers. We are going to be here for a while. Pocket (precooked) bacon, Gouda cheese sticks (not as good as “real” Gouda, but nice for snacks or in a pinch), cole slaw.

WHY does the photo processor always rotate my photos??? If anyone knows, I will gladly set them right.

I didn’t get a picture, but tonight I had a 1.7lb Ribeye w/ sautéed mushrooms (1tbs each of Butter, Soy Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce).

To “cook” the ribeye, I hit it on the grill for 1 minute per side … thus a SUPER EXTREME Phily Blue (Face it, it was raw … lol).

Dealt with the fridge mostly all day, and still trying to get it sorted. … In the meantime, ordered a new fridge for backup, while working on this one. My Son mentioned picking up a Mini-Fridge like the one in my office. So we’ve packed what we could in that one when he got it home, and we will have to wait till Wednesday for the new one to arrive. So I’m hoping I can get the other one worked out soon. … So basically just ate some of the things as we were making up the rest of the stuff that thawed. - Had about 6 Sausage Links and 6 Bacon strips, one 1/4 lb. Hotdog, (gave the other 5 to the Girls.)

UPDATE! I rotated it 370 degrees and it stayed upright! Who knew?:woman_shrugging:

Now, I’m getting hangry staring at this trailer while getting unloaded. And there won’t be a steak in sight where we go to spend the night after this delivery. :drooling_face:

Ended up staying up till 4am this morning, while we still tried to salvage what we could with the Fridge acting up. We did end up losing some stuff, but not too much, thankfully. Sadly, I decided to toss 4 new 18 count Eggs this morning, (72 Eggs, :cry:) after learning the fridge too had stopped working, allowing temps to go a bit above 50°. So would rather be safe then sorry. … Wife and I have been making what we can, including the Kale, Sausage, Mushroom Pork Wrapped Roast we put together late last night. So this will be for Dinner later. And we will doing something here in a couple hours for lunch…

Though I spent most the day yesterday working on the fridge, checking things back and front, I’m still unsure why it’s still not working. I’m hoping it’s the thermostat, Temp sensor, etc. or just something that can be replaced with minimal effort, and not the damn compressor itself. New Fridge won’t be here till Wednesday, so we are just using the Mini my Son picked up until then. Also plan on Fasting this week.

:laughing: Thanks… I just helped hold it while she put the elastic bands on each end. Actually that was the first time we had tried it with Pork Roast. We had talked about it, but since we’ve been trying to use up foods we needed to, we’re hoping the Sausage, Kale and Mushrooms goes well? We’ll find out. :wink:

This is absolutely the best cake I’ve had. Notice the recipe doesn’t call for oil, butter, or HWC. I used egg whites because I think it makes a lighter cake, but use what you like. I made a basic meringue topping flavored with peppermint and sweetened with Allulose.
