I need some more gizzards. Low fat and great source of protein!!

#2556

Yep, had the Wife make 2 packages, since the Girls love them too. It’s actually Hearts and Gizzards, and I really like the hearts too. Plus we get Turkey Gizzards from time to time when they come in. :+1:

(Jody) #2557

Love the hearts. Most of the regular places I shop don’t have the hearts … just the gizzards. Every once in a while I get lucky and find a hearts and gizzards combo pack.

#2558

 This is what we get at the local Food Lion. I just wish the Turkey Gizzards did the same! It would be off the charts some kind of good to get Turkey Hearts with them!

Lunch… Tuna Fish with Mayo, Greek Yogurt with a few Black Berries, 2 Boiled Eggs, an ounce of Salt & Vinegar Almonds, Cream Soda Zevia and an Almond Milk.

Retro Thursday. Going back to 2013, this was a 66 ounce/1.9 kg ‘Tomahawk Ribeye’ steak at a restaurant in Pennsylvania, USA. An impressive hunk of meat, which I could not eat all of. I finished it the next day right off the bone.

Busy days at work call for simple grub, like this Asian-inspired omelette with fried scallions and coconut aminos:

Bison burgers with Primal Kitchen barbecue sauce and mayo, fried eggs, and avocado, sandwiched between cloud bread made from eggs and cream cheese:

I said no pickles :rage:

This was so PRETTY in the Plating

I instantly forgave this dish :flushed:

(I discarded the pickles later in utter shame and self guilt)

Props to the IN-N-OUT Master Chef!

Gordon would not send this back to the kitchen

#2563

That’s a sin, Troy! Pickles are our friends! :+1:

#2564

Dinner… Top Sirloin, Sous Vide 22 hrs. talk about tender! Wife said it was the most tender she’s had and was laughing she could cut hers with her fork. It was quite good, and the added Shrimp and some kale went quite well tonight. … And since my Son decided not to eat tonight, guess what I’m having tomorrow at work. Doubling Down and probably Fasting until Saturday night or so…

@Digital_Dave
Haha
Ya I know
They are good

Pretty much just my carnivore-ish WOE now :slightly_smiling_face:

I will say, the left over pickle juice was good , I will say that for sure!

(Doug) #2566

Coffee (and pickles) are friendly to us.

(Laurie) #2567

Cold (leftover) mini burger patties, with a dip made from avo mayo, yogurt, and Tex-Mex seasoning.

(Butter Withaspoon) #2568

Staying at a friend’s where I am the cook and instructed to make keto food, Yay! Except that it has to be vegetarian, less yay because that’s more challenging… but yes, for my good friend I can do it!
Here is the tofu and veg curry I cooked for us tonight, with cauli rice (not shown). I brought my own butter and added it to everything to enhance tastiness. … I think all meals have been well appreciated so far. We will keep calm and keto on!image

(Doug) #2569

Helen, that looks really GOOD.

#2570

Decided to eat early today, and Fast for a bit… Steak and Bacon (Is there even a better dish?) Just saying sounds too good. … Also had some Pepperoni, Swiss and Cheddar Cheese, Cottage Cheese, Cream Soda Zevia, Iced Tea and 4 Squares of Ghirardelli Dark Intense Chocolate.

This is fantastic! It is great to see your friends being so supportive, and that dish looks delicious, well done!

(Virginia ) #2572

Glad you enjoyed it. :kissing_heart: And, yes, it was very tender.

(Jody) #2573

You finally got to me. lol I ordered some [unsweetened] “Thick and Creamy” Cashew milk.

(I like the Silk Cashew milk because it’s think and creamy … much more like whole milk. I find the almond milk a little too watery )

Also got some 2 Good (brand) Greek yogurt in various flavors. They are 3 TOTAL carbs and 12 protein … so will fit in well with my new macros.

Spare ribs cooked 20 min in my Instant Pot, then added rub and smoked for an hour in my new electric smoker. Added BBQ sauce and smoked another 45 min or so. Tender and delicious!
