What did you Keto today? Part Deux!

#1005

I actually used to purchase 1/4 pound, all beef Hotdogs, from Berks. (20 pack) They’re very good, and anyone who has purchased 1/4 lb. Hotdogs from Wawa’s, these are pretty much the same, but are actually a bit bigger.

I have a small meat shop near me that gets them, and I’m actually trying to get the nutritional information from them, so I can find out what’s all there to know if they can still be something to get from time to time. But you could eat one with a meal, but two would definitely do ya.

Vienna sausages, Gouda, Havarti, Bacon and Jalapeño Cheddar, Baby Dill pickles, sardines, and BACON!

#1007

When bad lighting happens to good meals :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Lovely big bit of beef oyster blade with asparagus/broccolini/kale/mixed capsicum sauteed in the pan juices along with chilli & garlic. Not pictured: the odious sardines I choked down beforehand!

(Running from stupidity) #1008

Thank you for that.

:innocent:

#1010

Terry’s Chocolate Orange - were crazy good.

(Running from stupidity) #1011

Chicken Korma - a rich broth that the cauliflower puree cuts through, giving a delicious flavour juxtaposition.

Two things.

  1. My wife was horrified that I was taking a photo of this. #ohyeoflittlefaith
    2. #ADHDBRAIN has forgotten the second thing…
  2. Oh yes, @brian just reminded me. This chicken Korma is out of the rotation for now - way too many carbs as a percentage of the overall macros.

(Running from stupidity) #1012

OK, so.

Macadamia nuts.

Lots of fat.

Frying them up.

They get done VERY quickly…

Second batch wasn’t a lot better, as they also keep cooking even once you’ve got them out of the pan because - and I may have mentioned this - they are little fat bombs…

At least these ones were usable.

#1013

Yeah, they do sell those choc orange balls that break into segments here in Australia, made by Terry’s and they’re sold at Woolworths supermarkets etc…not that I eat them anymore.

(Troy) #1014

Haha. My sister-in-law is obsessed with anything choc orange. (plus I used to be a sugar fiend)

(Running from stupidity) #1017

Oh yes. Sure. Sure.

(Kristin) #1018

Wellshire is the brand of hotdogs. I bought it from Whole Foods Market.

(Troy) #1019

Locally attainable

I’m going to try the mushroom substitution, earthiness sounds delish. As always your pic is drool worthy :heart_eyes:

(Joanna Parszyk ) #1022

I made this recipe! Ate it so quickly that forgot to take pictures :rofl::rofl:
I highly recommend many things from this channel, the woman is awesome!

#1023

Yep, back with a vengeance apparently. (On that duck, I mean) … I so want some duck!

Thinking about going out this Sunday to eat some Peking Duck, which I haven’t had in years, but was always one of my favorites. :yum: … Was searching some places for this just a few days ago.

Krazy Keto chicken parma - houseblend “crumbing” of a juicy chicken thigh, topped with tangy passata and ham before being finished with local mozzarella. Filling out the plate is the chef’s special cauliflower puree, and bok choy pan-fried in beurre noisette.

Much as I dislike chicken breast, I think it’s better for parmas.
