Decided to Carb-up some today (Not meaning eating loads of ‘Carbs’, per se) just my way of saying I’m planning on eating a couple nice sized meals to end the weekend. …and get ready for this week.
Some Fried Eggs, Bacon and 2 Hot Smoked Sausage I wanted to try out. Also, ate a couple squares of 90% Lindt’s Dark Chocolate, a small hand full of Pecans and cracked some Salted Peanuts. … Later, I’ve pulled out some NY Strip Steaks to make for dinner.
I’m on a sauce kick. Take 5-6 brussels and shred them on your cheese grater. Add to pan with butter and oil and cook over med-low heat until softened. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder. Add a HEAVY splash of heavy cream and stir until thickened. Pour sauce over ANYTHING
Brazilian Picanha, grilled “salad” (baby toms, artichoke, onion, asparagus, red pepper, corgettes)

Had a nice NY Strip Steak, with Fried Cabbage and ham, Fried Oysters we were trying out. (Meh) … Also had some pickles and olives on the side (Not shown) and some Pecans and a square of 90% Lindt’s. … Ready to do some fasting for real!
Brisket, pulled pork, & House-made sausage at Texas Pride BBQ, Adkins, TX east of San Antonio. We kept the foil underneath so the fat wouldn’t soak into the butcher paper.
