Avocado Blue Cheese Burger with pickles. No-sugar Coleslaw- they used golden raisins which I was able to pick out.

@Digital_Dave Loves Chocolate. In case no one else figured that out yet

Ribeye, bacon, fatty coffee, and Bulgarian yoghurt. I added in 30g mild cheddar too.

OMAD breakfast.

Yes indeed. … Couple squares after most meals goes quite well.

@Hapygirl I don’t usually stick to recipes too closely but this is one of the recipes I reviewed before just making it my own way.

I would really like to incorporate Avocados into my meals, if anything, for the benefits I’ve read so much about. But TBH, I didn’t really care for their taste overall. But also, I’ve only purchased two before shortly after switching over to this WOE, and I actually ate them plain, so this could have been the issue itself?

Might have to do some research to see what all they can be used in/with, etc.

#4173

Guacamole! Game changer…it might even be a good pickle dip  I also use them in place of mayo on some things. Tuna salad with avocado. Egg salad with avocado.

#4174

Thanks, sounds like some of those may work indeed. And could be fun to try that Pickle idea!

Full disclosure… And this might sound strange to some, but I have to admit I’ve never had Guacamole before. :flushed: … I’ve always heard of it, but just never tried it.

My sister will only eat avocados in guacamole form, and she only started doing that recently. It is never too late to try new things

Now that I have a stick blender, guac, or even just whipped avacado, is super easy. Throw in some salt and lime and you’re good. You can also add salsa or tomatoes and onions if you want. But there was a thread a while ago somewhere that said real guacamole is just avacado, salt and lime. If I rememeber correctly. Since my comformation bias is super simple cooking, that’s what I choose to remember.

I had whipped avacado with just the salt as a creamy sauce for my cubed beef tonight. Beef was cooked in butter with cumin, garlic and onion powder and cinnamon. Pretty dang yum.

But then I love avacado eaten straight out of the skin with a little salt on it, so my results may not hold for you.

Breaking the fast (set to the tune of Judas Priest’s “Breaking the Law”.

Same.

Dinner yesterday

Nope, I didn’t eat both of these ribeyes – I cooked these delightful specimens up for my wife and I. I have no pictures post-cooking but they were served up with roasted cauliflower, all the butter in Seattle, cremini mushrooms, all the butter in Seattle’s suburbs, pink Himalayan salt, and a bit more butter.

Breakfast today

Did an airport run today, and woke up feeling unusually hungry so I simply had some bacon, a bit of chorizo imported from Spain (was hoping for wonders but it wasn’t actually that amazing considering its journey), eggs, a segment of brie, and a small piece of the jerky I made from beef chuck. I gulped down some freshly ground and brewed coffee with MCT oil poured over as well. I was so hungry that I only have a photo of the coffee!

What a
dick
move!

(Ashley) #4181

They also taste a lot better with salt and pepper imo!

(Jenn) #4182

I sprinkle Trader Joe’s everything but the bagel seasoning on them… or you can eat them with chicken or mixed in an omelette.
