What did you Keto today? Part Deux!

(Full Metal KETO AF) #3983

@juice Thai basil chicken with those Thai peppers you posted a couple days ago. Get the pure basil blast of flavor :hot_pepper::man_cook:

(Running from stupidity) #3984

Sure, I’d taste that with a BURNED OUT MOUTH if I had even a few of them at once

(MooBoom) #3985

Exactly what I used :+1:

#3986

It’s “Meat Week” on the Cake Wrecks web site:

(squirrel-kissing paper tamer) #3987

Broccoli with cheese and a hunk of pork with home made salsa.

#3988

Had a Salad with Pepperoni, Ham, Hard Salami, etc. Also some Pickles and Olives… Then had some Fish. A Piece of Salmon, a piece of Haddock and some Shrimp. All with loads of Butter.

(Running from stupidity) #3989

The simplest of roasts. Roast beef in a marinade of mustard and black pepper, served with roast radish, roast cauliflower and steamed beans.

Hamburger Patties and Eggs
The at home breakfast “Diner Cafe Classic “ , to me at least

Breaking my 104h fast like a pro:
Two kinds of butter sautéed cabbage
Butter fried shrooms
Veal breast that has been in the sous vide for about 20h
And avocado :avocado:

Wow the veal! It is a super fatty cut, usually a pain to prepare always gets tough, this thing was even half price off…
The sous vide has made all the sinewy fatty stringy bits become buttery melt in your mouth perfection…

@juice
I forked up the pictures, I really need to get a soft box too :metal:

(Running from stupidity) #3992

The fork is the important thing

A very ‘meh’ dinner. After being in the office 13 hours today, the people I’d been meeting with and I went to a nearby restaurant for dinner. It was ridiculous – despite not being that busy we had terrible service and it was well past an hour after we sat down before our orders came out. Despite all that wait it wasn’t anything impressive. A boringly-cooked flat iron steak (wasn’t even hot on the plate) and a boring salad of which I extracted the carrots etc. I washed it down with some Knob Creek served neat.

I covered it in butter and it definitely counts as “what did I keto today” but I’ll never be going back there!

(Running from stupidity) #3994

Yeah, you really wonder about some places.

Big Fat Cheeseburger Salad with Onions, Cornichons & Sriracha.

(Running from stupidity) #3996

Market-sourced bacon and sous vide creamy poached eggs in a bowl, with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce.

(Heather Meyer) #3997

Agreed…salad looks like a snore fest

(bulkbiker) #3998

Sous vide or just normal roast?

(Running from stupidity) #3999

Just normal, sadly. SV would have been a lot better.

(bulkbiker) #4000

Dare I say it looked a bit overdone?

(Running from stupidity) #4001

Yeah, that was our assessment too, despite cooking it for 35 minutes instead of the recommended 45.

Underwhelming.

When I was a customer service manager at the grocery store, I noticed that everyone did their best work when it was busy. Everyone just focused on their job and got to it. When it was slow, that was when there would be issues. Since then Ive notice the same phenomenon in restraunts. When it is busy service is efficient and friendly. Come in when it is slow, and it is like you are interupting the servers’ time.
