Leftover cabbage with caraway, cheddar jalepeno sausages, and cream cheese.

I tried a new “recipe” for sautéed cabbage. I cooked and crumbled some meaty bacon, toasted a teaspoon of caraway seeds in the fat. Sautéed some shredded cabbage in the flavored oil, added back in the bacon added some salt, pepper and a bit of cream to bring it together. I wasn’t too impressed the day I made it. However, it is FANTASTIC leftover. The caraway comes through much better.

Sunday night super spicy hot pot cooked at home. I ate my weight in beef, pork and mushrooms. I should probably have called the USDA to warn them in advance of a dramatic shortage of beef over the next few days.

Korean Sundubu with kimchee, silken tofu and lots of pork belly. That was lunch a few days ago. Tonight was a pound of rib eye and some kale sautéed in butter and ACV with red pepper flakes, garlic and sea salt. I’ve been eating well this week.
