What did you Keto today? Part Deux!

Pork chops are an excellent delivery vehicle for butter and salt. So get your butter and salt in with sous vide pork chops, along with some cauliflower puree and sauteed green beans.

Just a couple of my favorite hot sauces and lots of butter. Then rubbed the out side with some cayenne pepper a little garlic and season salt.

(Ashley) #2582

I have this in my weekly rotation! I love it!!!

(Ashley) #2583

I eat a similar thing. I sub the spicy sausage for regular pork sausage. https://www.instrupix.com/easy-low-carb-soup-recipes-keto-friendly/

Out running errands
Decided to eat out …sigh😓
Not the normal for me

Forgot to say no cheese
Decided to eat any ways
So far, so good…no lactose issues “ yet “

It was good though
Bacon and egg omelette
Yup…I asked for a side of butter- lots
Looks small in the picture, but it was about 10 tbsp of whipped butter!

(Charles Wood) #2585

Did you use some kind of syringe?

(Running from stupidity) #2586

Of wut?

(Troy) #2587

Bacon and eggs with my homemade turmeric mayo

Cheeseburger Salad with Jalapeno Poppers. Bad picture but great (if rich!) meal

(Joanna Parszyk ) #2592

I really like the simplicity!

(Mandy) #2593

It was really good!

I used this one… It did take me a good hour for all of this but totally worth it. And leftovers!

(Sophie) #2594

This looks super yummy, thanks! I think it’ll be perfect for post holiday eats.

#2595

Looks fantastic… nice picture too. Can you tell me how to cook that asparagus and
sauce?

(Brennan) #2596

@TeeCee for the pan sauce just add a spoonful (~Tbsp) of butter to the pan after the fish comes out. Add to that the juice of a lemon and stir/scrape the pan as it reduces. (I believe they call this “de-glazing” the pan, but don’t quote me on that.)

Oven roasted asparagus:
Pre heat oven to 400F
Spread asparagus on cookie sheet in a single layer.
Spray or lightly drizzle with olive oil (not too much, we don’t want to steam them).
Salt and pepper.
Zest of 1 lemon (*use the lemon to make the pan sauce later).
Roast on the middle rack for about 10 minutes (I throw them in just before I put the fish in the pan).
I have a friend who does parmesan instead of lemon zest and that’s pretty tasty too, so don’t be afraid to experiment.

(Ashley) #2597

I may have to try this one! Looks like it makes a little more than the recipe I found!

(Allie) #2598

I bought this. It was reduced and I’ve never had it. What a lot of work that was! Followed it up with the homemade Bulgarian yoghurt I made, now that was nice!

(Mandy) #2599

It made a ton… I’ll have soup for days.
