What did you Keto today?

#3998

I couldn’t eat it all!!! 4 pieces bacon, 3 scrambled eggs with onion and garlic powder and salt and pepper and HWC, and shredded cheddar. I know this is simple, but it hit the spot.

Maybe stab ‘em with one of those tomato slicing gadgets? I use them to hold lots of things I want to slice thin. I’m such a klutz I’m wary of mandoline’s…

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

(Candy Lind) #4001

So … you like a little egg with your pepper? :smiling_imp:

#4002

But where are the jalapenos? You feeling ok?

(Candy Lind) #4003

I had a hankering for tomato sauce, and I had some cod I needed to cook - so, from the bottom up, we have tofu shirataki noodles, collards (redneck Florentine? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:), cod fried in bacon juice, Rao’s “sensitive” Marinara with capers added, and some parm to top it off. Lovely way to break my fast today.

Ya, just decided to forego them this morning. Trying to be nice to myself after the digestive process begins…If you get my meaning.

#4005

I’m about to eat my first meal today… chorizo and eggs again. I’ll add some jalapenos in honor of you.

Not pretty, but tasty. Half lb 73/27 ground beef, 60g sour cream, 28g cream cheese. I had 2 pieces of bacon while the beef cooked.

-14 F in the woods of Minnesota cooking sausage and 3 lbs of Costco bacon over a campfire. After the meat was done, I fried a dozen eggs over the fire.

That’s fun cooking!!!. Did you clean up your pan with snow?

(Patrick) #4010

Just scrape the bits off and dump the bacon and sausage juice in the fire.

(Marie Dantoni) #4011

oven fried chicken, cabbage w/sriracha mayo

(TJ Borden) #4012

That’s one of my staples. There’s really no way to make it pretty on the plate, but it’s good and filling. I also do a version with a bunch of hatch chili powder added. I call it Sante Fe Stroganoff.

(Sophie) #4013

Oh Hell Yeah!!! Even without the jalapenos!

(Lonnie Hedley) #4014

Yep, good and filling and stroganoff without the noodles basically. If I hadn’t had 6 hard boiled eggs for lunch, I often top it with an over easy egg or two.

(TJ Borden) #4015

How did I not think of that??? Well, I know what’s for dinner tonight.

In the crock for a late supper. Chili with 2lbs 73/27 beef, 1lb chorizo, peppers, onion, little bit of tomato. Cooked in beer with chili powder, cumin, oregano & cacao. The beer is a Bud Select 55. I bought some when I thought it might be ok since I gave up my monster hoppy ales but no the Bud is unworthy shit so I cook with it instead.

Fathead pizza. Sausage bacon ranch
