What are your top 5 Keto meals?
Hi! I’m new here!
My favourite keto meal has to be 100% Enchilada Chicken with Cauliflower Mash. It’s so so nice! Feels like you’re having a cheat meal!
Can’t go wrong with chicken and broccoli cheesy bake either.
Just literally had some wings with franks! Haha.
I try to have something new everyday, meal wise.
If you like I can share the recipe of the enchilada chicken.
What I like:
For breakfast:
Boiled eggs
For lunch:
Boiled eggs
For dinner:
Any kind of meat except pork because it gives me acne and moodswings
Please, share! My daughter is on Keto and I’d like something new for her!
5 strips bacon and grease its cooked in, 2 eggs, 2oz cheddar.
Chicken, pork, salmon, turkey or beef, cooked broccoli (or spinach or kale)
Small green salad with almonds, parmesan, 5 strawberries with ACV.
My old post is out of date. Now I don’t eat vegetables, and I emphasize low cost and ease of preparation. I cook in batches and put the extra portions in the fridge and freezer.
-
Curried ground beef, and ham.
-
Ground beef with Pace’s Picante Sauce, and ham.
-
Cooked burger patties from fast food restaurant.
-
Ham and eggs (lunch).
-
Scrambled eggs (lunch).
Hams go on sale really cheap at holiday time. I buy several, cut them up, and freeze them.
My top for simple cooking:
Spinach frittata
Baked salmon
Barbecued bavette steak
Thai broccoli rice
Omelette roll-up
But actually I like more.
Regards, Jane
Considering it changed a little, I update mine.
- Pork chuck roast, with only a little salt. Simply the best. It’s great fried too but I can’t make a lot at once that way.
- Egg sponge cakes, 100% eggs (but some grated Grana Padano definitely doesn’t hurt… If I don’t do carnivore, I add gluten too).
- Pork tongue - and other organs, I like liver and heart, almost only eat chicken and pork ones. But pork tongue is the BEST.
- Venison is my new rare luxury food
I always liked to eat deer and it’s the cheapest ruminant meat here (organs don’t count), the cheapest beef is a bit pricier. I probably like it as stew best, with paprika and very little onion (I use about the tenth of some recipes but it’s perfect that way). As every proper stew, it can be eaten with sour cream
I love sour cream.
- My fav fluffy dessert, it is made of eggs (more white than yolk, the whites are whipped), whipped cream and some flavoring. And gelatin if I have it, it’s way better jellied, the top still stays fluffy but the more watery bottom gets nicely jellied. Sweetener isn’t needed.
