Weekly Meal Plans... Anyone interested?

(Charles Wood) #1

I’m trying to get better organized with eating keto. If I have a plan I tend to avoid the stuff I need to avoid and eat the stuff I should eat because I don’t have to think about it.

I’m wondering if anyone would be interested in working with me to put together weekly meal plans with shopping lists. I’m not looking to make this super involved, just a list of days, meals with links, and a shopping list I can use to stock up on Saturday or Monday.

If you’d like to contribute, let me know and we can figure out how we’d like to approach this. I’m also considering planning one next week on my own if no one replies to see if it makes sense to people how I’m thinking about putting it together.

What kinds of keto meals do you like to eat now? It’s hard to suggest a meal plan without knowing what you want to eat!

DietDoctor has a 2 week free meal plan that you can customize. It’s super easy, and you can print off the recipies and shoping lists. And it’s really great tasting food.

Just a suggestion.

One of the things that make DD so easy is that you make a double batch of the meals so you have one serving for dinner and the leftover serving for lunch the next day. If you IF, you don’t need another meal. But if not, a simple breakfast can be included.

Not quite sure what you are looking for.

This YouTube Channel has a lot of meal prep recipes.

I usually do an easy “sheet pan” style recipe based on whatever protein is on sale that week at the local grocery stores – chicken thighs, sausage, pre-made meatballs, chicken organ meats, etc. My vegetables are almost never the same.

I love that “sheet pan” style… I’m gonna use that.

A variation on the “sheet pan” for faux-tato salad:

The sheet pan contains finely chopped up cauliflower, broccoli, red radishes, and some carrots. A little olive oil spray and a lot of spices. Baked at 350° F for 20 minutes.

The back bowl contains four hard-boiled eggs chopped up, raw match-sticked red radishes and diced onions (for crunch). I didn’t have celery, or I would have added some.

I mixed everything up with horseradish, mayo, and spicy mustard.

It didn’t last long.

BTW, I’ve updated the cheap and easy keto meal prep link to include a few examples.
