I started a water fast 10 days ago. I always start my fasts off using coffee with cream (sometimes mct or butter as well) for the first 3 days. This fast for some reason I never dropped the cream but the darndest thing I have lost 12 pounds in 10 days. Yesterday, I lost 1.2 pounds. It’s kind of crazy. I like fasting for autophagy but really want to lose this excess fat. According to an online calculator my ideal body weight is 145. I don’t think I’ll make it that low. I don’t remember ever weighing that. I’m 175 today and oddly that was my college weight but back then I would have fit in a today size 6 maybe smaller. Currently, I’m hoping for a size 8 whatever that means scale wise. Today, I am between a 12-14. I can wear some 10’s but not comfortably.
So I’m intrigued that I am losing well but taking in calories in my coffee so not a real fast and 2 days ago I broke my fast with bacon and butter to counteract some tannic acid. I just kept going after that as if i had not broken it. I want the benefits of autophagy too so i think I’ll try to ditch the fats the rest of the week and see if the fats loss continues.
Other Interesting results: Dealing with body recomposition too gained an inch and a half on waist, inch on belly, and someon my hips, but down 5 pounds since those measurements were taken.
