Hi title sums it up, do I need to change what I’m doing?

(Edith) #2

I’m curious: why are you having a bpc if you are not hungry?

(Rich) #3

Maybe you have just answered my question with your question. I’ll try not having the BPC in the morning if I’m not hungry.

I think it is just a habit of having coffee - so thought might as well make it healthy.

Thanks for looking at my post

If you’re not hungry but want coffee, just have it with cream instead of the added fats.

This is what I do.

Another (maybe more motivational) way to look at this is that if you are fat adapted, then skipping the BPC once in a while will mean your body will have little trouble pulling the same fat calories from your local storage. But, maybe not all of the time, as you don’t want your body to simply get used to less calories (i.e. lower metabolism).

Thanks to everyone for their help. I’m going to try for a week or so to not habitually have a BPC and only have it if I’m hungryish first thing.

So since this is a “newbie” section and I fall into this category, why are you using acronyms? I have no clue what BPC stands for. Any help would be appreciated.

Bullet Proof Coffee

Sorry! BulletProof Coffee which is a coffee with butter and cream in it.

Well that’s how I have mine but there are a number of receipes on the web.
