Villainizing Chicken This Time

Another garbage study:

The quantities of meat per week they were categorizing were soooo small. Of those who were still living at the end of the study, 70% were eating greater than 400 g of meat per day. Maybe that actually says something about the benefits of meat in general: most of those still living ate more meat. I couldn’t figure out the breakdown of those who had died during the study.

Those values are per WEEK, not day.

There was a group with less than 200g (about 7 ounces) of meat per WEEK? That’s one ounce of meat per day.

Or 200g on Sunday lunch, similar to my childhood
We may be biased, I did meet people who ate ridiculously tiny amount of meat. It was always odd to me because I was an almost-vegetarian. If I had a rare meat eating day, I meant business  But we are all different and it makes sense to put 30g bacon or sausage into a scrambled eggs and stuff…

Indeed. You just have to laugh… :smirk::smile:
