I used love eating fruit trifles when I visited the United Kingdom. So I made up this recipe that should not taste at all like one, but somehow does. I don’t measure any ingredients, so it’s all to taste:
(1) 3-ingredient Ricotta cheese. (It’s only 3g carbs per serving.)
(2) Sugar-free jelly. (I use the Splenda-sweetened Smuckers version.)
(3) Heavy Whipping Cream
(4) A packet of Truvia
Just put those into a single-serve container and whisk it all together with a fork. It tastes like a fruit trifle to me!
Variant:
Sometimes, I don’t use the jelly, but instead use some sugar-free vanilla syrup and hemp seeds.
