Trader Joe's shopping list

Oh that is a good idea! Making some kind of veggie dip would be super yum!

I put it on keto bread and biscuits

Ah… Thanks.

I didn’t know about that. I’ve made bagel dogs by wrapping fat head dough around hot dogs. I bet it would also be good on that. I just cobbled together something similar out of my spice cabinet.

@cadori i literally use the everything but the bagel seasoning on anything i can. i made some low carb rolls using coconut flour and pour a generous amount before baking and tastes just like a new york bagel. i’ve definitely seen it used on celery but haven’t tried myself. i would try cucumbers also and throw in a little smoked salmon. brunch without the carbs!

I got some sunflower seed butter from Trader Joe’s too. its really good stuff. I’m not sure if I like it better or if I like almond butter better. Good thing I have both so I dont have to decide between the two. :stuck_out_tongue:

I like their frozen garlic. Each tiny cube = 1 clove of chopped garlic.
Also their frozen basil (similarly portioned).
Chopped ginger in a tube.
Coconut oil spray.
1009 day Gouda cheese (my current obsession). It has a similar texture to good Parmesan and it is very flavorful so I don’t need to eat a lot.

I put it on fried eggs or soft boiled eggs with some kerrygold butter. It is fantastic with some oil and soy sauce on broiled salmon. Also great with butter and veggies like artichoke hearts. It sells out so quickly here that they don’t even place it on the shelf anymore. ha!

ME TOO! This is awesome in sauteed veggies (cabbage, etc.). I use it in my soups and basically anything needing crisp, or chopped bacon even if a topping - the grease flavors the pot, the bacon the finished product. Oh yea – and they are INEXPENSIVE! Great budget balancer.

Oysters are high in carbs, smoked maybe less, but still…they got me along with all the nuts. Pecans are good bit I just can’t stop!

Use your meter- your glucose meter. Oysters are high in nutrients, too. The carbs in oysters are no big deal for me. I’m in my 7th year of maintaining 65 of 70 pounds lost.

Nuts are binge triggers, so I don’t eat them. I wouldn’t be in weight maintenance now. 0 nuts. over eating any food = regain for me.
