Testing glucose and ketones which one do you use?

Also, where did you purchase it from ( I’m from the USA).

Thanks

Precision Xtra…Amazon. I also have the one from Jimmy Moore coming in to compare.

I’ve been wondering what the best bang for the buck tester was. I was looking at the Nova Max Plus at Wal-Mart online but I’ve seen some less than stellar comments on here. But the strips are about the cheapest I’ve seen besides the Keto-Mojo which isn’t shipping for a few weeks.

I use the Precision Xtra, too. It was $39 on Amazon I think, and the Ketone strips are about $2.47 each.

Another vote for the Precision Xtra. I also got my kit from Amazon (came with the meter, finger poker, case, 10 “needles” and 10 glucose strips) and was <$50.

I actually use a different lancet instead. I like the Delica lancet.

Thanks everyone for your info!!

Now, the test strips are pricey does a local drug store (CVS or Rite Aid) sell their generic test strips that could be used for the precision Xtra or any other brand?

I ordered the Keto Mojo meter. The main reason was for the $.99 ketone test strips. I’ve been using it to test ketones. I use a Onetouch Ulta Mini to test glucose. Those strips incan get off Amazon for $15-16 for 100.
