Switching from Carnivore Diet to Keto diet

I had been on the Carnivore diet for about 17 days and lost a total of 9 pounds… please bare in mind this is the first diet I have ever attempted. When starting this diet my motivation was not necessarily to loose weight. But to see if I felt better by cutting out all the carbs,sugar, caffeine etc… Needless to say within the first week I felt amazing and full of energy. But then I started craving flavor. After days of eating eggs, steak, and bacon, I just wanted anything with flavor… Long story short. I’ve decided to switch to the Keto diet beings I can add a little more variety. I’ve been on the Keto diet for about three days now and have gained 3 pounds … Is this normal? I’m imagining because I’ve gone from zero carbs,to more carbs is the cause of this… Anyone else experience weight gain after switching diets like this ?

Carbs hold water. Keep them low and green

Or you ate something to which you have a sensitivity that you didn’t know you had prior to eating carnivore.

Or are you craving fat? I cant think of anything that tastes better than a perfectly seasoned and seared ribeye.
