2C pecan halves
2T melted coconut oil
1/4t cayenne
1/4t cumin
1/4t salt
1/2t truvia (or to taste)
mix pecans, coconut oil, and dry ingredients in bowlā¦dump onto lined cookie sheet
bake at 350F for 5 min
(i was done prepping before the oven was ready so i threw them in and started the timer after the oven was to tempā¦i may increase the time for more crunch next time)
some will be eaten as isā¦some will become pecan butter

first batch seemed on the oily sideā¦so adjust we must
increased spices, decreased oil
cooktime 12 min ISH at 350 (just watch them after the 8-10 min mark that they donāt burn)
at around 8 i swished them around and made sure they were doing ok
these are definitely spicier. soā¦if thatās not your thing go somewhere in the middle or stay with the original measurements. i do recommend reducing the oilā¦much better
