We’ve been taking chorizo (or other sausage), putting them in small, halved peppers (or halved jalapeno peppers), wrapping these with bacon, putting them in the oven for a while until done. I ate a ton of these last year.

That sounds AMAZING! Thanks for the suggestion

I’ll be making buffalo wings, curry deviled eggs, crockpot meatballs with sugar free grape jam and chili sauce, and zucchini chips with french onion dip.

I’m gonna share my wing recipe, because no one makes them better than me (not kidding). First of all, get good wings from somewhere like Earth Fare or Whole Foods, or a local butchery. Do NOT get Tyson or some other garbage. Make a seasoning mix of salt, pepper, cayenne, cumin, chili, and garlic powder. Put them on a rack on top of a pan so the fat drips down. Bake 30 mins at 350, flip, then 30 more mins. Take them out, put them in a big bowl and toss with Frank’s Hot Buffalo Sauce (or the sauce of your choosing, but it’s hard to beat Frank’s). These wings will fall off the bone, the meat will be juicy and not at all dry, and the skin will be crisp. Sometimes I’ll make a mixture of sesame seed oil, soy sauce, Sriracha, and garlic powder, ginger, and cayenne to thicken it up and use that instead of Frank’s (or do both!). Enjoy!
