Steak with brown-butter toasted pecans

So I kinda made this by accident after having steak last week. I had buttered my steak, one of the pecans from my salad got into the butter, and it was a classic, “Hey, you got pecans in my butter!” - “You got butter in my pecans” moment. Thus, I made steak for dinner and tried my hand at toasting some pecans.

They seemed lonely, so I added some salt, pepper, and a dash of cayenne pepper.

That didn’t seem like enough, so when in doubt, add butter!


This is how it turned out. Slightly sweet, spicy, nutty, and amazing on steak and salad!
