Ok - just asked because it seemed that you were starting out with them - and I looked up the carb count. Gosh, I would miss them too. Good job.

Thanks. And I looked everywhere for low carb arepas and ofcourse you can imagine there is a very wide range of them in Colombia. But none with low carbs surprisingly.
Just figured out they are the same as empanadas? Or looked like an empanada from the picture?
I can see why. One of my things is sort of related to that, in a carbohydrate-type way = flour tortillas. I can take lots of them and fold them up into wedges and just eat themā¦
When I used to do that (seriously havenāt had one in six months) they had to be fried and swimming in butter.
Empanadas are fried pastry filled with meat. To be honest they arenāt like arepas at all unless you make an arepa sandwich of sorts
Yeh they are delicious. Especially arepas made out of yucca. Absolutely mouthwatering
From wiki: An empanada (Spanish pronunciation: [empaĖnaĆ°a]) is a type of pastry baked or fried in many countries of the Americas and in Spain. The name comes from the Spanish verb empanar , and literally translates as āenbreadedā, that is, wrapped or coated in bread.
Empanadas are made by folding dough over a stuffing, which may consist of meat, cheese, corn, or other ingredients.
Hahaā¦still aint getting cravingsā¦Iām full as a bullā¦

Any feedback is welcomed regarding the ratio between Fat, Protein and Carbos and the quantity of food (Calories).
Thank you.
I ate many a veggie wiener from the days of my youth. Was raised on the fake meat. Some of it is better than others, some not so bad, some not really qualified to be considered actual food.
Honestly, Iād rather eat real meat than what gets sold as fake meat these days and rarely will touch the fake anymore. For one, it will make my wife swell up as though sheās been stung by a bee in most cases. And there are some kinds of it that I canāt digestā¦ which means itās coming back out one end or the other, or both, and not in pretty ways. Feels pretty bad, too. Itās just not worth it to us.
Iāve seen some āhealth nuggetā blurbs in a church setting that ooo and aaah over McDougall and a few others. But the last one that really got me was somebody, donāt know exactly who, that hated butter so badly that they actually recommended eating margarine. Um, I donāt think so. (I actually voiced my disagreement on the spot but the āsheepleā were only intent on their hypnotic oooing and aahing.) AARRGGHHH!!!

Hi All,
Apart from Dr Paul Masonās highly illuminating dietary myth busting videos at the UTS, I think longevity specialist Dr Peter Attiaās advice concerning diet is second to none. He undoubtedly suffers a kind of obsessive compulsive disorder regarding his personal dietary habits, which is not a bad thing for one being a longevity specialist. What I find makes his advice so stimulating is his skepticism regarding the dogma associated with various dietary groups. In essence his knowledge about biochemistry, nutrition and exercise is way beyond that of a prototypical dietary fantatic who swears by a certain way of eating and for that reason I find him easily the most informative speaker on diet I have so far found. The podcast below goes a long way to demonstrating just how knowledgeable he is and nearly almost everything he says is backed up my exceptional personal testimony and science:
This Peter Attia is my new hero. Incredibly insightful, modest, and intelligent. He is a lifelong learner in the truest sense. His natural curiosity to learning and self improvement is remarkable as the video below demonstrates.
Interestingly, there is a strong connection between his comments regarding his future self and where he wants to be say in 5 years and Jordan Petersonās physiological reasoning behind the future self-authoring program.
PS, the title of this video doesnāt do it justice:

I saw my doctor today and she said my results couldnāt be more normal.
I have some Liver blood tests to follow to just cover the odds and ends.
I would like to thank Regina, because if it wasnāt for her, I would have been in no-mans land.
