Soaking up fat at bottom of bowl

Anyone have any ideas to sop up the fat at the bottom of a bowl of ground beef? I’d normally eat it with rice but that’s not an option. Flax seed powder maybe?

Pour it over Cauliflower rice.

You do have a tongue, right? --Insert BIG smile here–

I lick whatever I can get to.

I’m doin Omad so it’s a lot. I usually put the bowl in the fridge to let the fat solidify a bit. Just lookin for other options other than doin shots. Cauliflower rice will be next.

With any meat I just crack a few eggs and stir in quickly with the oil and residual heat in the pan with salt and Thai spices and have it as a scramble along side. It’s incredibly filling

I agree with Scott…eggs will absorb a crazy amount of fat when you scramble them. You can also save it for cooking assuming it doesn’t have a lot of spices added to it.

Or just use a spoon

Last night we made a meatloaf of sorts with ground beef and chorizo…we took all the fat and poured it into a bowl with tomato paste and broth and hit it with a stick blender…it was amazing!

Not the best pic but…

The bits on the top are crispy chicken skins we chopped up and added for texture.

Parmesan cheese.

I just let it cool and spoon it out. Wonderfully decadent :grinning:
