Slipped up

So been keto for only 18 days now. I have a weekly bingo night with friends on Thursdays. Now because I leave early before dinner and don’t get home till after 10 I used to have sandwich and cake. Last week I stayed stayed strong(I guess coz I had lunch that day) and didn’t eat anything. Tonight after not eating since 5pm the previous day I was kind of hungry so decided to get a piece of cake. Took 2 bites of it and completely felt sick. After giving up carbs n sweets it’s only now I’m actually realising how sweet certain things are… So definitely no more falling.

It’s amazing, isn’t it? I had a sip of my son’s apple juice and couldn’t bear it!

It is very interesting how sweet things are. I was stuck yesterday and ended up eating a chocolate bar. It was so sweet but is was also creamy so I finished it. After it I went for olives.

If you plan to be going to bingo regularly can you bring something along for you to eat or have something before you go so you are full. Like almonds or pork rinds to snack on or a hamburger with cheese (but no bun) before you go so you are full up.

Thanks ZoZo. It’s hard for me coz all the snacking stuff I’m aloud to have are all crunchy stuff ie pork rinds, nuts etc and I have no teeth to eat them. So trying to find snacking things that are soft are really hard.
