Sausage Meetza Pizza

(Sierra) #1

I hope this image uploads.
Anyhow, when I was diagnosed with a gluten allergy I started making hamburger crust pizzas. Then I saw in here people were getting sausage crust pizzas from pizza houses.

Here is my take on it:
Flaten sausage onto a pan for the oven, as thin as possible (I just use my hands with a little water on them and squish it flat). Cook at 350F for about 30 minutes. While sausage crust is cooking sauté veggies or toppings of choice. Put a small amount of pizza sauce on top of cooked sausage crust, add pre-cooked veggies and cheese. Broil for 3-5 minutes. YUM!

That looks delicious. I loathe the taste of nut and nut flours so I may just have to give this a go.

That looks awesome! I think we are going to have a pizza cookoff tomorrow night. Hubby has been wanting me to make the cauliflower crust pizza and I want what you made!! So, I will compromise and make both!
