I have a friend who want to cross the Greenlandic icecap and he needs to minimise what he brings along and what better than fatty food.
Any suggestions?

I’ve used it several times on trips, it is really wonderful to just have around.
Last summer I made another batch where I left the meat plain and dried it on our pellet grill…that was pretty bland - I definitely recommend marinading it like jerky.
It sounds like your friend is going to have an incredible adventure! How will he be travelling - hiking?
