Same here!!! I am never ever hungry and find it hard just to consume 1000 calories per day. And I am not going to fall for the “Eat Fat” to loose Fat. I want my body to burn the fat it has stored. HENCE…Ketosis!
Protein while on IF
Once you know how many grams of protein to consume in a day, how does that translate to servings, since grams of protein is not the same as the portion weight?
You can add foods in an app like myfitnesspal that will give you the macro nutrient breakdown. Or just Google something to find out.
E.g.
1 lb of 70/30 beef
1488 cal
128 fat
64 g protein
A leaner meat would give you more protein. Chicken is low fat high protein so i usually throw it in salad with a lot of oil

Yeah, some people can’t be bothered to pay attention to calories or macros but i assume the people who give an exact percentage breakdown are utilizing my fitness pal or keto app of some sort. My fitness pal is decent once you make some adjustments to the dietary assumptions it makes. It is annoying that it tries to get you to pay for a subscription. I remember the good old days of one time fees. So, i only use it when i introduce new foods or recipes. Most days i just eat green vegetables, meat, and oil until im full

Simple, yet effective. I love the new recipes and foods I’m finding. Can you believe I never heard of Halloumi cheese until a couple of months ago? It can be fried and it’s fantastic.
