Coconut pancakes

breakfast

It’s a 12-oz bottle. If you live near a Sprouts, I think Walden Farms condiments are B1G1 free right now.

BTW, had pancakes w/ Walden Farms Maple Walnut tonight. HEAVENLY. :innocent: I only ate 2, bacon on the side. I also liked the results with adding water to make them easier to spread. I didn’t go all the way to “pourable.” My hubby is going to LOVE these.

@Brenda Thank you so much for the waffle recipe! I have been doing Keto for 2 months and listening to 2KetoDudes from the beginning. I got to your recipe discussion this week and surprised my family. This was a tremendous success!

Thank you! Thank you!

Just got around to trying this recipe and it was so amazing. These pancakes really hit the spot! They are very filling too! I made a couple extra pancakes and I plan on using them as buns for a breakfast sandwich.
Thank you Brenda!

OK, Dumb newbie question: is the recipe at the very top still what people are making? Has everyone drifted to some changes?

(without reading all 947 replies in here…)

(Sybella) #281

I’d be surprised if it isn’t a staple in the kitchen for many people now. They’re really easy to make and cook.

(Tara) #282

Hey Bob, I basically made the original pankcake recipe at the top, with a pinch of nutmeg :yum:

(Central Florida Bob ) #283

Thanks, Tara.

(Candy Lind) #284

I add water but that’s it. Just fed them to my nearly-keto hubby this morning.

I guess that’s just experience? You see the batter looks too thick and add a tablespoon or something?

It has been so long since I’ve seen actual pancake batter, I don’t have the slightest idea what it should look like.

(Candy Lind) #286

The batter is very thick. I like to thin it down but it never gets similar to “regular” pancake batter. Today I added about 1/4 c water to a single recipe, maybe more. That makes them take a bit longer to cook, but not a lot.

It looks like most people used the original recipe. Some have added a teaspoon of baking powder for added lift and a bit of water to slightly thin the batter to an easier-to-spread consistency.

And oh yeah, at least one person added bacon to the batter. :bacon:
