Peanut butter can be made by ourselves quite easily!

If you don’t consider the aftermath (cleaning), that is. I wanna sell peanut butter!

One pack of 200grams of peanuts, roast it.(mine is slightly burnt, so the peanut butter is quite dark in colour… But it tasted just slightly bitter, and with the salt in it, it tasted actually alright. But… I did put in some stevia powder in the end, as the bitter taste is still a bit strong for my preference.)
Pour the roasted peanuts into the food processor.
Blend it for 15 seconds, pause and shake a bit. Blend again, pause again, stir it. (Read note 1)
Blend again, pause again, stir it and mix with salt, butter and olive oil.(I use pink sea salt)(cot the fat, it is actually mainly butter)
Blend again, pause again, stir it.
Blend again, stop.

Note 1: The second pause onwards, you need to start to open the processor to use spatula to stir a bit.(first pause? Go ahead to be lazy and just shake. In this pause, your peanuts are still just powder)
Note 2: basically every blend is about 15-30 seconds.
Note 3: and the food processor, when blending, is actually quite heated up. No wonder the peanuts can become peanut butter just by blending.(actually in the first place, I didn’t even feel that adding butter and oil is actually required, just that I added because I wanted to fill it up with fat to make more with less peanuts only. That’s all)

Picture? I forgot to take the photo. If there is any request on the picture of the final picture, I will take.

No need to add oil to make nut butters with a food processor. Just let it run. Making tahini is probably the main reason I even own one at all. Well, tahini and mayonnaise.

Um, yeah!!

Actually my reason to add fat is to add the volume by fat, so that I will take in less peanut and more fat.

and therefore less carbs per serving or by percentage of nutritional facts.

I bet bacon nectar would be good added to peanut butter. Hmmm…

Yeah.

One thing to think…

I know I might sound insane already, but I intend to make peanut butter for my parents to give as a birthday gift, now that I manage to make peanut butter.

Should I add more butter to use as a filling? Or just purely peanuts?

It is for my father, who doesn’t seem to care about keto. (of course no sugar. No need also. If I need to add in sugar, I can add in stevia)

Or maybe add chocolate. Or make some peanuts with butter and some peanuts with butter and chocolate, and then swirl them into the jar all fancy like.

Cashew butter is particularly indulgent.
Macadamia butter is heavenly.
