So easy. So Yummy.
Peanut Butter Bacon Fat Bombs

1/4 cup each peanut butter and coconut oil (I used Skippy. Don’t judge me. I can’t stand the “natural” stuff)
1 tbsp bacon fat
2-3 slices crispy bacon (your call)

melt the fats and PB and whisk together.
chop bacon teeny-tiny
mix together and pour into into silicone mould.
*look how cute they are
41%20PM
chill in the fridge an hour or so until solid.
Keep refrigerated so they don’t melt.

Very interesting.
I do love peanut butter (I actually like the no sugar kind).
Bacon? Bacon is in it’s own food group as far as I’m concerned.

Might give these a try. Thanks

Peanut butter and bacon go together soooo well!

These sound amazing! I agree with @matt, PB and bacon are a great combination.

Thanks for the share. Looks yummy. Sometimes i crave peanut butter.
No chocolate or did i miss in the recipe

Also what’s a good sugar free peanut butter?

(Monica “Monster Jean” Wendel) #6

Nope, didn’t miss anything. No chocolate in this one, though you certainly could add some
I can’t stand “healthy” peanut butter, so I went for it and used regular 'ole Skippy, but if you do the math (which I provided in the recipe) it still only ends up at 1 net carb per piece. If you find a sugar-free, or otherwise healthy peanut butter that doesn’t feel like nut cement in your mouth, I’d love to hear about it!

I made these this morning and used crazy Richards 100% peanuts creamy peanut butter (Walmart) and added about 1Tbsp of organic stevia/Erythritol mix. This is my 5th kind of fat bombs to make and so far they are the only ones that I find to be edible! They are delicious!!! Thanks for the great recipe!

I’d use the sunflower seed butter from Trader Joe’s, it’s lower in carbs than almond butter or peanut butter. It also tastes really good.

There’s all sorts, just make sure the label says peanuts and salt, that’s it. It will be oily on top but just stir each time you have some. The peanut butter will probably says natural on the front of the jar.

I always thought peanut butter contained a lot of sugar and is very flammatory, I would use almond butter instead.

Hold on a second. but that skippy peanut butter… how many carb per serving? how big is the serving?

It is not that I want to judge you or something. I am more curious.

Anyway, if that is the case, how about trying Peter Pan Peanut Butter? 6g of total carbs per serving(32g), 2g of fiber…

Well, the thread starter already said he didn’t like those natural peanut butter for the taste reasons, and all those “peanuts and oil only” peanut butter are likely those “natural” stuff that he cannot stand.

#13

i tried this and its probably one of the most vile things i’ve ever tasted. sorry.

I was answering someone in the comments who asked for a sugar free peanut butter not the person who started this thread.
