Ok new to if what’s the scoop?

I’ve completed day 4 of 16:8 if. How long should it take to see weight loss and a change in blood sugar? I’ve been stalled for over a month so I added if to shake stuff up. Should I if everyday or alternate days. Suggestions or tips?

Doing OMAD for 4 weeks now now after 16:8 for a few months. Been fairly consistently losing 2.5 lbs per week over the last year with some stalls and holiday misgivings. What I have learned is

  1. I can’t add in many carbs even with IF. Quickly gained back 15 lbs in 3 months till I reigned it back.

  2. Need to confuse body with changes in calorie intake and not cut too much.

  3. Weekends I try to do 12:12 or 16:8 but still keto to prevent metabolism drop. Confuse your body.

  4. With OMAD eat earlier in evening so you are getting fasted sleep advantage.

  5. Good sleep is more important than you can imagine!!! The scale tells the tale between good and bad sleep.
