No weight loss 😭

I wonder if you’ve done your measurements. I found this interesting article that really helped me. I had only lost four pounds, but in taking my second measurements discovered I had lost 3 inches off my waist.

Thank you for that information. As I suspected you are in an age range now where weight loss tends to be a bit more difficult because insulin resistance is higher. Also, you aren’t very overweight and so you likely won’t be one of those people who starts off losing huge amounts out of the gate.

It’s way to early for you to begin worrying that you are in any sort of stall yet. The magic of this diet takes 1-2 months to really get rolling. You eat this way so that you are in a continuous low insulin state and your body begins to adapt to it over time by becoming more efficient at using the fat stores that are now available. It is only when your body is adapted that your appetite really begins to reduce and your eating habits will naturally change.

It sounds like you are eating the right sorts of food. I don’t know how many times a day you consume calories but this is the first place you you want to examine as your appetite drops. You want the periods where your insulin is lowest to become longer and longer. So, when you become less hungry (maybe it’s already happening) drop any snacking. Further down the line you may even want to drop a meal.

Wait another three weeks before you start to worry. It’s really too soon. If your still not losing weight then there are many, many tweaks that help people who don’t have very much to lose. But it’s too early to start adding restrictions that you likely will not require.

That’s an interesting thought, I’ll check that out.
