New and not sure if readings are too high

#1

Hi,

I’m new to Keto (6 weeks) and have lost 9kg which I’m happy with. I bought a blood ketone and glucose reader and I’m not sure about what levels are safe. Two of my friends checked out their readings on it and it correlated with what they usually have. When I measure my blood my average ketones are 3.6 mmol and my glucose is 3.2 mmol. I notice most of the informational charts and comments refer to lower ketone ranges and higher glucose ranges. Is my health going to be damaged when my ketones are this high and my glucose so low?

Any help would be appreciated as I don’t want to do anything stupid.

Thanks very much.

3.2 glucose translates to ~57 on the meter i am used to. that is low but not yet dangerous. would check in with doctor. go to ER if gets down around 2.7 or less. ketone level looks fine. forget the exact cut off but i think acidosis starts around 15-20
