My Longest Fast To Date - 22hrs!

And I lived to tell about it! But seriously, it wasn’t planned really. I’ve been doing 16/8 for a couple of weeks skipping breakfast and not missing it so today I decided to just have some broth around lunch and I was good until dinner. What a relief not to be tied to meals or feel like I’m starving all the time! I don’t think longer periods are going to be a problem in the future either. Looking forward to it! :+1:

That’s great! I find it does get easier every time…and that broth really helps.

Yay for you! How exciting!

I achieved a 23.5 hour personal best yesterday myself. This IF has been a slow slow process for me and I still can’t make it very long without some fat in my coffee/tea. I am learning I do much better and find it easier to have a big early dinner and start my fast by 4-5p so that I am already past 14 hours by the time I awake. It felt like I wasn’t benefitting much from my 16-18 hrs of IF but my bod seems to be getting the hang of it and I am finally increasing my window.

Congrats! I’ve been taking it slow too, and I still add cream to my coffee, tea and broth.
