My first long fast (3 days, 1 day, 3 days)

Hello, congratulations to all on your ketogenic journey :slight_smile: I have been on keto diet for over a year with great results, this week I began my first long fast, I have benefited a lof from other peoples’ posts and charts, so here is my contribution, hope this can be useful for anyone :v:

The peanut icons means I eat 160 grams of almonds right after the 6 pm measurements
I began fasting being in state of ketosis already, the data begins at the 12th hour of the first day.
I fasted for 3 days, then eat 160 grams of almonds (~1000 kCal, 34g Protein, 14g Carbs, 80g Fat)
24 hours later I eat the same 160 grams of almonds and didn’t eat any more for another 3 days
Glucose and Ketones were measured at 6am, 12 noon and 6pm
Weight was measured at 6am

I though after breaking my fast ketones would lower significantly but 12 hours after the first meal ketones reading was 3.9, 24 hours after that first meal I eat again, 12 hours after that second meal ketones were even higher at 4.8 so I decided to fast for another 3 days, I am on the 12th hour of the 3rd day and plan to continue until the end of the day.

It seems as if even though I eat, data shows as if I hadn’t, would love some comments on that :v:

Interesting chart. I have no idea how you kept your ketones up and BG fairly steady. Your GKI is amazing. I’m interested in what other people have to say.
