My first big fast! I feel great!

So, I’m at hour 21 of my first 24 hour fast. I feel like I have a super power! Look at me! I don’t need food! (Well, you know…)

I listened to episode 26 (http://2ketodudes.com/show.aspx?episode=26) and tried the trick of not eating anything after lunch, which I had at 11:30 on Monday. I’ve had some Keto Aid for dinner, and breakfast, and my Bullet Teeccinno, and water. No food, not snacks.

I had been skipping a meal here or there, mostly breakfast, so I’d done a 14 or 15 hour fast, but this is pretty cool.

Here’s my Keto Aid:
24 oz water
2 Tbsp Magnesium Citrate
1 Tbsp ACV
1/8 tsp Lite Salt
5 drops liquid stevia

PS, I did it! 24 hours! The last hour was a bit tough, but I drank some straight water, and chewed a stick of sugar free gum.

Just an update, I’m finishing up my 2nd 24 hour fast!!! It went a little easier, I didn’t have coffee this morning. I find that coffee speeds up my metabolism, or at least, it makes me feel hungrier faster.

PLUS! During this fast I did a 4 mile bike ride! Not a high speed one, but still.

I actually enjoy my workouts more when fasting.
