Me, IF? Or... I skipped breakfast and lived to talk about it

Seriously, the only time I remember skipping breakfast was because I was having a umm… procedure. I usually drift off to sleep thinking of breakfast, and am planning lunch as I’m finishing breakfast, etc. But I haven’t had much weight-loss success so far (30 days) so figured I’d give it a shot. So I tried my first BPC-ish yesterday morning, and while that isn’t technically fasting, it was certainly unusual for me. I was hungry, for about a minute, then was completely fine until lunch, and ate nothing after dinner. So Monday dinner until Tuesday lunch was 18hrs, and repeated it Tuesday night into Wednesday. I’ll be interested to see what happens.
Oh, and not sure what to think about this: I have peed more in the past 24 hours than I thought humanly possible!

That’s awesome

Skipping breakfast and adopting 16:8 as the main rule in my day to day routine was what broke my plateau back in 2011. Now I do one or two 36-48 hour fasts a week, and alternate between one and two meals the remaining days. If I’m very hungry during the longer fasts I’ll have some broth or a little butter in my coffee. I don’t always need this though, but I’ve noticed that I need to reduce stress and prepare more mentally for the days I don’t eat at all

Wow, that’s good stuff; so much wisdom here. Keto life must have been pretty lonely back in 2011!
