Make your own cheese with vinegar and milk

This both intrigues and terrifies me. Anyone tried it or something similar?

All cheese used to be made at home. Nothing to be afraid of!

Some of the hard, aged cheese might be trickier, but I understand making your own cottage cheese is dead easy (of course, who would want to?). :cheese: :bacon::bacon:

Sure. I used to make the Indian fresh cheese paneer like this. I preferred lemon juice as the acid precipitator and/or buttermilk. Vinegar was too….vinegary.
It was delicious. And easy. And delicious. And delicious.
Not doing dairy now…… so miss it a bit, but we are ok.

Lacking a cave, I’d have to agree with you there.

Couldn’t have said it better, myself. I was addicted to Palak Paneer for a good, long time in my vegetarian days.
