Macros! Help!

Ok, I am looking for some help. I have looked online and I am a little hesitant to change my macros. I have use the macro calculators but for some reason I don’t trust them lol.

So I am currently use the standard of 75 Fat, 20 Protein, and 5 Card.

I started strength training and I want to build some muscle. From what I am reading I should adjust my macros.

I am:
43yrs old
5’10
210lbs
Goal Weight 185lbs
BMI is 30% I think…

Any suggestions on the macros?

I would up the protein for muscle building. And consider not paying attention to macros for now at least focus on your carb limit. Read this if you are new and haven’t read it yet. Macro obsession early on especially isn’t necessary or desirable in my opinion. And careful about working out now if you’re looking for weight loss, might work against you while trying to get fat adapted. Activity like a long walk is good.

Thank you for the info. I started keto back in August 2018, and lost 40lbs u til the holidays. I took time off was able to maintain my weight loss. Now I am back at it. Started my second week.
