Lemon Curd Emergency, Please Help

I am making @Brenda 's lemon curd.

I am trying to strain the mixture and it seems like its too thick. Very little is going through the strainer.

If anyone cna help, please do.

Try using a spoon to push it through?

I tried, it is too liquidy it just moves around the spoon.

I will often swirl a thick liquid through a strainer with a wooden spoon. The action of the circular motion scraping inside around the bottom of the sieve opens up the holes to let more liquid through while pushing the solids out of the way.
