Lazy Girl Pizza

(Insert witty quote here) #1

Y’all, I’m really lazy, but I wanted pizza, so this is what I did - sorry no pics - I thought about posting after I got done eating it.

Ingredients
1 tbsp Butter
1.5 c. mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 c. pizza sauce (optional)
1/2 yellow pepper
8 pepperoni slices
pizza toppings
Italian seasoning

In an 8" non-stick pan, melt the butter and saute any veggies until tender. Add mozzarella cheese to cover the bottom of the pan. This will be the “crust.” Add pizza sauce if you’re using it, and the other toppings. Cover and cook until the bottom is brown. Don’t move it around too much, or it may come apart. Top with italian seasoning and slide onto a plate. You may need a big spatula to help out. Enjoy!

Note: What I did not do, and what I think I will do next time, is use a plate and flip it so the top gets crispy, too. you could also broil it, but again, this is “lazy” pizza, remember?

This was delicious! Below are the stats for the way I fixed it from MFP:
Calories: 474
Carbs: 17g
Fiber: 5g
Protein: 59g
Fat: 20g

I’m sure that the carb count would be lower if I had used low sugar or low carb pizza sauce and left out the pepper. I just used what I had on hand.

I’ve done this too. I have a picture somewhere.

For the ingredients you’re listing, the fat seems too low and the protein seems too high. I’d wonder about the information in MFP. It’s often not right.

Do you have a recommendation to calculate nutritional info?

You can use any tracker, but just check when you’re pulling up a listing if it seems to match what your package shows. MFP is also supposed to show if entries are verified or not.
