If you don’t absolutely need real pizza crust, it’s easy to have a pretty good keto pizza. My SO finds it okay too and he has his own normal pizza. As normal as I can make that, I can’t make a real, proper pizza but the average pizzeria can’t do that either, I have high standards. So it’s not the awesome real pizza (I would eat that if I wanted, fortunately I don’t feel the need even once in every 5 years), it’s different but it’s very good and satisfies me.
I do carnivore now and I dislike pizza with meat except a tiny bit of ham (I can’t help I am this odd, okay?) so I simply don’t eat pizza now. And what? I eat other great food. Of course, it’s worse when other family members eat some tempting stuff but when I make pizza on keto and I want it myself, I make my own keto pizza too and it works wonderfully. I actually prefer my keto pizza but they are almost the same anyway as I use bread dough for both, keto bread dough for mine, of course and I prefer very thin crusts so the differences are less noticeable (keto bread is very different from carby bread, after all. not extremely but very obviously).
But if someone is lucky enough to be happy with only the toppings on something but the something isn’t particularly important, they don’t need even some dough. Omelet (maybe cheesy), slice of cucchini may work as “crust” just fine.
It’s an ancient topic but I quickly write about my case. I don’t even have a purse, I use a backpack. I usually bring water with me and that’s it. If I go away for days (and it’s not visiting a relative where I will find proper food), that’s different but I didn’t do it since ages. Last time I had some peanuts and ground walnut mixed with ghee in a little box, the latter lasted for quite a few days, being so very dense but not being irresistible (like peanuts back then) and a few boiled eggs in their shell.
It really matters where I go but I usually need nothing.
Last time I went for a very long car ride, I had a box full with my unsweetened chocolate and some boiled eggs. I think I planned to use the chocolate to have a chance to resist the usual awesome cake after the satisfying chicken meal (I should know myself better at this point but the chocolate went well with the cake and I ate less than usual) but I mostly ate it in the car when I was hungry and the eggs already were gone. It’s not my idea about a satiating meal but my hunger went away, eventually, for a few hours (but then there was chicken).
I don’t need to bring salt with me as I could do a 3 day only water fast any time without having sodium problems and I am typically fine with the salt content of the food I get anywhere.
