#KetoOn - Sans Galbladder?

I have a friend that is doing keto and just had her galbladder removed. Her doctor is recommending she stop keto. Any suggestions, supplements, or things to avoid? Trying to help and encourage her but not sure where to begin! Just starting my research for her…

No shortage of people doing keto without a gallbladder, if she was already keto before the gallbladder removal it will be much easier, but in any case people do it all the time. Some people need to add in bile salts to help fat digestion. All the advantages of keto still apply, just MAY have the GI issues without the salts but that’s independent to the person.

HI! I just had mind out about 6 weeks ago. I was fat adapted and did just fine. There were a couple of wonky weeks but my body adjust great! I feel that I healed really well being Keto prior to the surgery! No foods seem to bother me. Take it slow and tell her to listen to her body.
