Keto macro accuracy for a newbie?

I’ll reiterate here, gluconeogenesis is demand driven. Yes, it can impact ketogenesis, but you’re missing the real point. The real question, and consequentially the main point, is how does it affect LIPOLYSIS? Of which ketosis is only a small part. Since the major role of ketones is to fuel the brain, if the body has the protein substrate available for limited gluconeogenesis for brain fuel instead, it may use that. It does not mean you are not still in Lipolysis. This illustrates the problem with the Nutty Keto focus on ketone production, rather than understanding the overall State of Lipolysis.

You can eat lot’s of protein as long as you’re eating fat. If your protein macro gets too high, your body will let you know. Believe me, it’s a fairly unpleasant experience.

If you don’t believe me, consume just lean meat for a day or so…It works much better than laxatives.

Agreed. Lipolysis is the goal. Ketones are a side effect. GNG is an ongoing essential process.
