Keto Frybread

Kevin’s frybread recipe was a win for me! It was easier to make than normal frybread because I didn’t have to wait for it to rise and there was no rolling out the dough with tons of flour that gets all over the place. AND it was really good!!
I baked mine for 6-8 mins on each side and then fried in oil about 30 seconds on each side.
Topped it off with taco meat, cheese, salsa, avocado, black olives, sour cream, and lettuce. :yum:


Calling for keto Southwestern recipes! Keto sopapilla anyone?

So grateful for this Category and recipe!
I love Frybread and know how important it is for Traditional Natives.
My Beloved is Native and he made traditional Frybread for me when we first got together. It was a beautiful and humbling experience. Unfortunately, it nearly made me pass out from a glucose overload. :pensive: So, I tried to find an alternative. Mine was too greasy. So, this might work better.
