Keto Flu...It’s Real!

(marissa) #1

Hi All!
Day #5 I tested for ketones(strips and for the first time) and was marked as “moderate”. It is Day #9 and my second day of the KETO FLU. My first week, I didn’t feel anything unusual(other than cravings) and I actually felt a jump in my day-to-day energy. But yesterday it was around 5pm and I was hit with a wave of dizziness, so severe I had to lay down. I then became super nauseous which I’m sure was a symptom of my head-pounding headache. I felt like o had the actual flu. Around midnight I ended up taking ibuprofen, which helped greatly. Woke up feeling a whole lot better but another wave of nausea came with a headache. Currently, am feeling good but hoping the worst of it is over. Not really asking for advice but just wanted to give my other Newbies proof that Keto Flu is real and to not give up…just fight through it!

Fallow this protocol, it will help.

Keto flu is real, but you don’t have to experience it. Increase your salt intake and drink to thirst. You’ll feel a lot better.
