Keto Chicken Nuggets with Psyillium Husk Headbangers Kitchen

Made this this weekend, loved so much!

Keto Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients
250 grams Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast
1 Tsp Old Bay Seasoning Order it here
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 Egg
Psyillium Husk I use this
Olive oil for frying You can use any cooking fat of your choice

Instructions

  1. Blend the chicken breasts, salt, pepper and old bay seasoning in the food processor
    to get a nice ne
    chicken mince
  2. With wet hands shape the chicken nuggets and set in the fridge for about 15 minutes
    to rm
    up. You can alternatively free them too.
  3. Beat the egg lightly with some salt.
  4. Coat the nugget in the egg rst
    and then the husk and then deep fry in olive oil or
    any cooking fat of your choice
  5. Serve

Why not use thigh meat? Much moister and higher in fat.

I guess he is trying to copy McD’s version of nuggets. Yes, thigh would be a better choice.

I’ve been using ground almonds to coat stuff before frying- had never thought of psyllium husk! Will have to try it…

I have some exceedingly fussy step sons that eat nothing but nuggets, apples and some version of white bread… one more thing i can keto-ise for ALL the kids boom! Also I love indian food so this guy’s recipes are my new favourite thing. Thanks

give it a try jules4, I tried coating chicken with pork rinds, with whey protein, none of them turn out as good as psyllium husk.
