I was thinking of switching every other week for a month from the two different challenges, keep my body confused and hopefully get under 200. Ultimate goal is to train my body to not get comfortable and still burn fat.

Think I’ll throw some feasting and fasting in the mix too, been lazy since the bacon challenge. Got a new puppy so it’s been hectic acclimating it to my other dog. So I’ve been lazy keto and need to get back on track.

Funny you should mention dog … watching my sons dog this week she begs me for most of my bacon :bacon::face_with_raised_eyebrow:.,
I found after cheating on carbs and getting back in Keto I dropped quickly, mostly water I am sure …

thanks for the suggestion on one meal a day with the bacon challenge… going to do that starting tomorrow…

I haven’t gone off keto, just have been really lazy keto and it’s making me gain weight back! Gota get back on track! Puppy wants everything I eat too lol! Spoiled pups.

Day 3 bacon challenge down 1 lb 143 keto blood level 1.8::
Somewhat disappointed, however 1 lb is 1 lb… also thought keto blood level would be higher…
I had a large Diet Coke yesterday on ice… heavenly :upside_down_face:
From everything I have read won’t spike your insulin…
I am beginning to think everyone is different, diet soda may cause my blood level to drop…

I didn’t end up attempting the bacon challenge this week. I leave on a trip to visit my folks in AZ on Monday and I am trying to use up stuff from my refrigerator. :bacon:

Yes, this seems to be highly individual. There are a lot of people on here who tolerate sweetners just fine, but others who found that cutting them out was the tweak that they needed to make everything work.

FYI 1lb is great if your 143. I was 221 when I did mine which is why I saw a 8lb drop

Thank you … my goal is to under 140 than maintenance… scale is not moving . :no_mouth:.
Feeling energized today… for me that’s what really matters …

Weight in again in Saturday :no_mouth:. Really thought with the fat consumption yesterday my blood Keto levels would register at least 3 or 4 … again Diet Coke May not work for me …

Some people do fine and some don’t with diet drinks. I do okay with low carb monster energy because of the erithrotyl but do bad with other diet pops. I also limit because I don’t think daily consumption is good for me personally.

Just weighed in at 212. So I’m down three pounds from the 215 I bumped up to after the bacon fast. Going to give it a go for at least 3-4 days and shoot for 209 weight. If I do good I may do the full week. Plus bacon!!!
